Terms of Service
Effective 2026-06-22
No 40-page wall of legalese here. This is the deal between you and us, written plainly. The early sections cover anyone browsing the site; the later ones kick in once you sign up as a customer.
Using this website
By browsing namoid.in, reading the docs, or booking a demo, you agree to use the site lawfully and not to scrape it at scale, attempt to break or overload it, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorisation, or misrepresent your affiliation. The site's content, branding, and copy are owned by PolyMindsLabs Pvt. Ltd.; nothing here grants a licence to reuse them. The marketing site is provided "as is" and may change or go offline without notice.
Who the customer terms apply to
The sections below apply to customers once the product is available: anyone who signs up to integrate NamoID into their own application. End-users of customer apps have their relationship with the customer, not us. See the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account info accurate; use MFA.
- You're the Data Fiduciary for your end-users under the DPDP Act; we're your Data Processor.
- Publish your own privacy policy and obtain end-user consent before sending users through NamoID's hosted login.
- Respond to your end-users' DSAR + erasure requests within DPDP timelines. We provide the tools.
- Don't use NamoID for anything illegal, gambling, unlicensed financial services, phishing, or spam.
- Stay within published rate limits.
Data processing
When you use NamoID to process your end-users' personal data, you are the Data Fiduciary and we act as your Data Processor under the DPDP Act. We process end-user personal data only on your documented instructions and only to provide the service, apply reasonable security safeguards, and assist you in meeting your obligations to your end-users. We will give you advance notice before engaging a new sub-processor that handles your end-users' personal data, so you can object. A standalone Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
Fees
Free during early access. We'll give 30 days' notice before any paid plan takes effect. You won't be billed without explicit consent.
Service availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime. No formal SLA during early access. We don't promise zero downtime or zero bugs, but we do promise to fix and explain.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We soft-delete immediately and hard-delete after 30 days (matching DPDP §8(7)). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms; we'll try to notify in advance.
Liability
Service provided "as is." To the maximum extent Indian law allows, our total liability for any and all claims combined is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ₹5,000. While NamoID is free during early access, fees are ₹0, so that cap is ₹5,000. We disclaim indirect / consequential damages to the extent Indian law allows. Fraud and gross negligence are never capped.
Governing law
Governed by Indian law. Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction. Either party will try good-faith negotiation for 30 days before suing.
Changes
We'll give 30 days' notice for material changes. Continuing to use NamoID = agreeing to the new terms.
