iStart Registration and Product Launch Checklist
Separate iStart application work from product readiness. Use two worksheets to prepare official records and test a customer pilot.
Retrospective series date: 2026-09-21. This label describes the series order, not a historical publication.
Startup registration and product readiness need different evidence. An application can describe your company. It does not prove that customer accounts work.
Use two work lists. One supports your official application. The other protects the first customer pilot.
Read the current official instructions
Use the iStart Rajasthan website for registration and support information. Follow the official application route.
Do not assume that a published scheme accepts applications today. Check current eligibility, documents, deadlines, and program status. An old announcement is not an open application.
The worksheet below organizes your preparation. It does not replace the portal's required document list.
Prepare the application record
| Preparation task | Evidence to gather | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Describe the business | Clear problem and intended customer | Founder |
| Confirm entity information | Current official company records | Authorized representative |
| Explain the product stage | Accurate prototype or pilot description | Product lead |
| Identify requested support | Specific business or technical need | Founder |
| Record application progress | Official reference and next action | Application owner |
Keep submitted claims consistent with the product. Label demonstrations, mock data, and planned features accurately.
Store official records in a restricted workspace. Do not post them in a community channel.
Prepare the product record
A mentor can review your product more effectively when you show the access model and a completed journey.
| Product task | Test | Passing evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Create an account | Register a synthetic user | Correct user record appears |
| Protect a resource | Request it without a session | Server denies access |
| Separate customers | Use customer A to request customer B's record | Server denies access |
| Recover access | Run the documented recovery path | Only the verified account recovers |
| End access | Revoke a session | Later protected requests fail |
| Close a pilot | Remove a pilot member | Member loses the intended access |
Keep test results separate from company-registration documents. Each record answers a different question.
Build a demonstration that shows decisions
Show one realistic customer journey. Explain who signs in, what they can do, and what happens when access ends.
Do not depend on one shared administrator account. Give the demonstration a restricted role and synthetic records. Keep any real customer data outside the demo.
The first pilot checklist gives a more detailed access plan.
Ask the incubator a specific question
Ask for feedback on your customer role model. Ask whether the current program supports your product stage.
Request confirmation from the institution itself. Never assume that a general website description creates an entitlement to funding, admission, or mentoring.
Record the answer, date, and official contact route.
Keep an application dependency list
Some work can run in parallel. You can test login while an application is under review.
Other work may depend on admission, agreements, or sector requirements. Identify those dependencies before promising a customer date.
Use this record:
| Dependency | Required decision | Source | Next check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Program admission | Acceptance | Official program response | Set a date |
| Product access | Reviewed role model | Engineering test | Before pilot |
| Personal data | Approved purpose and fields | Product and legal review | Before collection |
